I’ve finished reading George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series. Here are my final thoughts, opinions, and things I didn’t get around to commenting on before… at least until the next book comes out.
And we’re done! Today we take stock of all the events that made up A Feast for Crows and try to guess where everything it going.
We’ve hit the home stretch in A Feast of Crows. Will Jaime take Riverrun? Have we seen the last of Brienne? Will Cersei ultimately prove to be a good leader? Yes. I hope not. And I highly doubt it.
Today in A Feast of Crows, characters keep on making making bad decisions. Plus, Jaime becomes the unlikely voice of reason.
As we push through the half way point in A Feast of Crows, new stuff starts to happen and the aftermath of wars are expanded upon. Also, Cersei is still screwing up.
Today, there’s plotting, plotting, and more plotting. Also, Brienne works out some issues. Did I mention the plotting?
Happy Nondenominational Seasonal Celebration, everyone! May whatever your proclivities for this time of the year be a good one! As A Feast of Crows continues, more plots are revealed and we see more of the female characters taking charge of the situation.
Today, things are slightly less confusing. The dust is starting to clear and future events are being set up.
As we begin A Feast of Crows, we have to ask: WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!? WHAT’S GOING ON!? AAAAHHHH!!!!!!
As we hurtle toward the end of A Sword of Storms, Jaime is becoming his own man, Sansa gets all the answers, Dany is starting to lose confidence, and Jon joins Tyrion in the hot water that’s been boiling away for most of the book.
